    The project was started in the year 2013 and is being implemented by Don Bosco Centre for Social Action,Yadgir,Karnataka. The project aims to

  • Set up mobile clinic and provide primary health care for about 6000 people living in 20 rural and remote villages
  • Impart health education and facilitate the community for accessing the public health system through trained and equipped health workers .
  • Train 10 health workers and equip them with skills to deliver the health care services and health education to the targeted beneficiaries.
  • The project has already reached 20 rural villages with primary health care services and health education.

Achievements from December 2013 to April 2014

  • Regular Medical Visit through mobile clinic in 20 rural villages – once in a week in a village- Reached out to 1200 poor people during the year 2013-14
  • Health education imparted to 500 people
  • Organised one training for the 10 health workers
