BREADS is the development office of the Salesian Province of Bangalore. BREADS assists the projects in the states of Karnataka and Kerala for a better, systematic and scientific approach to development. We promote integral development through proper systems of promotion, monitoring and evaluation of the Socio-economic, cultural, technical and Development Projects in the region.
Mission: BREADS is a voluntary organization aiming at the transformation of the poor and the needy, as resources and agents of change through educative presence and accompaniment.
Vision: We envisage a community of justice peace and joy.

Don Bosco College - Mannuthy Don Bosco College Mannuthy which began as a youth centre in 1984 started offering Training in Computer and Electronics. Later, it developed into an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in 1994. The Computer and Management Studies of the Activities 1. Study Centre The Study Centre offers three-year full time courses in BBA, BCA and MCA and contact classes for other courses of the University, like MBA, MSc Psychology. There are 115 students attending these courses. 2. Short term courses The Parish taken care of by this community has classes for Spiritual Development, Tailoring, Embroidery and Typewriting Courses. 3. Reach out programmes The Salesian co operators arrange regular monthly meetings and helps in the animation of local Don Bosco youth centres. There are 67 members who co ordinate visits to the government juvenile home and reach out to the people in the locality. 1.
