BREADS is the development office of the Salesian Province of Bangalore. BREADS assists the projects in the states of Karnataka and Kerala for a better, systematic and scientific approach to development. We promote integral development through proper systems of promotion, monitoring and evaluation of the Socio-economic, cultural, technical and Development Projects in the region.
Mission: BREADS is a voluntary organization aiming at the transformation of the poor and the needy, as resources and agents of change through educative presence and accompaniment.
Vision: We envisage a community of justice peace and joy.

Don Bosco - Sachivothamapuram With the idea of having a Salesian presence in the diocese of Changanacherry, a plot of land was purchased at Sachivothamapuram in 1998. A multipurpose shed was built in 2001. ActivitiesThe project is yet to launch any specific activities in an organized manner. At present the interventions are limited to: - Promotion of education for the children of the area particularly from the colonies - Summer and vacation programmes - Youth group with recreational and animation programmes - Computer training for the local youth.
